The
Orange County Psychiatric Society, a district branch of the
American Psychiatric Association, represents over 220 psychiatrists.
Psychiatrists are the primary mental health advocates for
quality patient care. The organization works to improve public
awareness of mental illness and increase financial support
of psychiatric care.

Inquiries:
OCPS welcomes
media inquiries on any issue affecting mental health, treatment
of mental illness, or mental health-related community events.
We are set up to respond rapidly to media inquiries when they
are directed to OCPS by mail or phone.
Additionally,
through APA we have access to both regional and national experts
and are happy to provide information as a public service.
